For a 3-hour private sunset cruise, we usually suggest departing roughly 2 hours before sunset so your charter ends about 1 hour after sunset. Typical departure windows are about 6:00–7:30 PM in summer, 4:00–7:00 PM in spring/fall, and 2:15–4:00 PM in winter. BYOF, catering, cake, flowers, and decorations are welcome. Most vessels allow BYOB for guests aged 19 and over. Outside alcohol is not permitted on the 85ft Event Boat; alcohol must be arranged through SeaSky in advance. The pontoon boat includes a BBQ grill onboard for informal sunset dinners.

Private charters depart from Plaza of Nations or Granville Island, depending on the vessel. Exact dock and boarding details are confirmed with the booking.

Dress in layers — Vancouver evenings on the water are noticeably cooler than shore, even in summer. A light jacket or sweater is recommended even on warm days. Closed or flat shoes work best. Bring a camera or phone for golden-hour photos, and your playlist on Bluetooth. If it’s a special occasion (proposal, anniversary, birthday), we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to settle in.
